Tech stuff: troubleshooting, board issues, computer problems etc.

That's right. You can put them right here.

Re: Website Blocker extension for Chrome

The reviews are all over the place. I left comments on reviews that specifically mentioned that it did not block YouTube, because that is one of the sites I want to block. No one is responding though. It's got a million users and it's on the Chrome web store, so I'm going to give it a try this weekend unless somebody here thinks I'm making a mistake. I don't want to get this thing and fuck up my laptop.

Why do you want to block websites? Just don`t click em.
But it looks legit, so go ahead

Or perhaps Hugh, you need a parental control app that blocks certain websites and create a difficult password for it that you would never remember when drunk? Or let one of us assholes create the password and we promise not to give it to you unless it's between certain hours. Ask oett. Pretty sure he's passed out during the times you would be drunk interwebing so there's no way for you to do it if he was in charge.

Sure, but why block your own homepage?

Couldn't find anything out about it, but I tried to install it anyway. I entered the sites and times I wanted them blocked. I tried to bring the extension back up to verify the sites and times, and voila, nothing came up except an ad offering me their premium service. Uninstalled it. Tried to write a review, but it wouldn't let me because it wasn't installed. Maybe I'll reinstall it just to one-star their ass.

"Just don't click em" doesn't work when I'm drunk in the middle of the night.

The Facebook app I downloaded to my new android phone does not have a live video option. When I took it to a tech repair shop in the neighborhood, the guy looked at it, then pulled up his own facebook on his own phone, and he had the live video option. Then he sent me away. I can't find anything on google about it, but it is very important that I have the live video option because my publisher wants me to do a live video with him in two weeks.

Does anybody have any idea what I'm doing wrong here?

What is utterly hilarious and frustrating about this is that the pages I find on how to solve a missing live video button simply tell me to click on the live video button

Hmm, I just looked up some german directions and it sounds pretty simple:

There should be a "what are you doing right now" thingy next to your facebook-picture. There it says must be a "live" button with a camera symbol. Now you can choose wich ever person to call live.

I think I`ll tell monica about this when she`s awake and she shall try call you on facetime.

Don`t worry, this will be figured out shortly

A quality hammer will solve all of your electronic dilemmas.

Sorry I have no actual advice. Feel free to ignore this. Or smash your phone to smithereens. Or beat the tech repair douche with in an inch of his life. As long as you had fun you won.

I think I might know what is happening. Back when my facebook account got hacked I had to open a new one. I think I remember it would no let my make videos until after a certain amount of time had passed. I hope that's it, otherwise I just wasted a couple hundred bucks on a new phone.

I got a T-Mobile phone and now Facebook Live works. Thanks to everybody who tried to help yesterday.

Also - when I went to the Verizon store yesterday I specifically asked for a 5g phone, but she got me a 4g phone. I wonder if that was why the Live Video option was not available on that phone.

What a stupid cunt, next time get your 5gs right slut. One star out of a possible five for bad conduct, availability and general product quality

The new alarm clock I bought has USB ports for Apple products, but my phone is an Android. Is there an adapter I can use to charge my phone on it?

Type in amazon "iphone and android charger in one", I hope that`s what you`re looking for
