Probably another 3 weeks or so till the water can hold the weight here...JudgeScrooge wrote:I do believe we a few months away from the Ice Fishing Reports. A few here will usually chime in with tales of small sheds and frozen lakes...sometimes even with a picture or two to prove their not just telling "fish stories".

Thanks for the rum Craptastic. BC eh? Mind throwing in a few of those mushrooms you guys grow so well out there? ;-)
Nice to see another drinker with a fishing problem.
The cabin sits shut-down, cold-frozen and empty, dead mice in the traps, waiting for me to drink alone there in the dark.

Canada sounds like Florida, just a lot colder and with more inflection on the "ehs"

And afterwords we can run amok! Or if you're too tired, we can walk amok.

Re: Fishing
i'll take a warm miller. gee, my dad was a fish biologist for the fws (fish and wildlife service). i used to go out with him sometimes into the field when i was little. he worked in the fisheries of several reservations, including sioux at rosebud, and mescalero of course, and flathead up in mt. anyway, we would do electrofishing and shock the fish up to the surface of the water so we could measure and weigh them. all sorts, trout, perch, bass, blue gill, crappie, etc. then they came back to life. he said it's important to wet your hands before touching the fish, otherwise it messes up their natural oils. now he works with endangered species like humpback chub and the razorback sucker. thanks pa! and he is a fly fisherman. i like the bobber method myself with a grasshopper or worm, and beer or whiskey or vodka. in a canoe is okay, but usually on land. clink!

If you were a fish then it would make sense why you smell the way you do.
