if you'd read the back threads (ahem), you'd know we're all about the cheap booze here. quality's important, too, but quantity is not to be ignored.Jerome wrote: normally this brand costs 3.99€, tday only 2.99€ or is it gauche to say that? :p

Re: What are you drinking right now?
to Bowmore, btw...tbh I only have tried the normal 10yr old one (IIRC) and it was a bit too salty for me (and seaweedy) but not only is there a right time for everything but I also could imagine that the older ones would be naturally mellower and thus maybe more to my liking...(I love many other Islay ones though, esp. Laphroaig!!)
Wingman: ahh, you must know I'm a Zen adept- always living in the moment and never in the past (or future), j/k...maybe will look into older threads when having more time...btw, just the other day I heard that coffee counter-balances well the effects of alc, very interesting to me, too since I also drink large amounts of it...(both (alc/coffee), underlaid with equally large quantities of water)...and yeah, of course: it would be idiotic to "snob" (look down on) any cheap brands if they otherwise taste well..

Last time I was on an army base I was not supposed to be there. God bless America!
I wish I was a General or some shit Id fully be yelling at people 24/7. I already have a nervous twitch so id probably fit right in.

I used to yell a lot but I'm too old for that shit anymore. Working on staff is where its at now. Being a General would be nice, then you could violate your own rules on drinking. Wish I was with the Brits!amplifier wrote:Last time I was on an army base I was not supposed to be there. God bless America!
