If it's free and I'm broke, I won't be refusing much of anything.
But if I have better options, that list goes thus:
Whiskys from my counry of origin. Canadians just didn't get that shit right.
Jager, simply because it annoys me.
And any poor class of wine over ten bucks. If I'm drinking wine. It damn well better be the best damned thing I've ever had or absolute shit and cheap as dirt.

I'd like to disagree. Crown Royal has a distinct flavour, but a good one. It's actually a family favourite (that is, in mine) back in Ireland. They always stock up on it when they visit.Lifer wrote:If it's free and I'm broke, I won't be refusing much of anything.

But I am no CC fan or Wisers fan anymore. And Alberta can keep its "Premium"....

And love comes in at the eye;
That's all we shall know for truth
Before we grow old and die.
I lift the glass to my mouth,
I look at you, and I sigh.

Becherovka. The most recent ex-hubby had a bottle and I tried it. Caustic, bitter, blech. I can't imagine it would taste any better with a mixer. If it don't taste good straight, forget it.
Also, I made a bad bloody mary with chipotle tabasco. I couldn't finish it. I have a fear of bloody marys now.

Got offered a glass of fermented camel's milk in Kazakhstan a couple of months ago. Accepted, because it's is the drunkard's way to be polite and acknowledge a friendly gesture. I was more than happy with the vodka that came straight afterwards though.

I can't think of anything I'd refuse IF it was at the right temperature. Doesn't matter what beer it is, if its warm, I'm not drinking it.

I don't like the taste of coconut, so no Pina Coladas or frou-frou Malibu Rum drinkies for me. But they don't really count as alcohol, anyway.

Tia Maria. Got drunk on it in 1979. Never touched it since.

I certainly am not refusing this Beefeater. 10 days to jail and counting.
