I need to bitch a little. Because Jeebus Christ, does a certain person wreck my head (and drive me to drink)! I swear it's like fuckin' Groundhog Day with them, only worse. Because instead of the Groundhog Day celebrations (and the faux-cheery radio DJ's voice, and the pushy insurance salesman etc - it's been a while since I last saw the movie), imagine THIS repeating over and over, ad infinitum, ad nauseam: Someone rather close to you does something that hurts you and pisses you off. Upon seeing your reaction, they act all innocent and surprised. You try to argue with them, and explain to them why their actions hurt you and pissed you off. They don't seem to really get your point of view, and still act all innocent, but at least they eventually apologise (if somewhat half-heatedly). The next day, all is fine, and you you get along brilliantly as usual...until they do that exact same thing again. You're hurt and pissed off, they act surprised and innocent, you try to explain, they apologise (if somewhat half-heartedly). By now, you're starting to get a little confused. But all is fine the next day. that is, until they do it again.
Drives me bonkers.

BEST BABY SHOWER EVER!
Held at the local bar, had lots of good food, games in which one one drinks and or/wins or money for drinks.
game in which dh kicked ass (don't ask) and won a gorgeous canteen.
And drink. Won the fifty/fifty which meant drinks were on me for a while,,
damn hammered, and lovin it.

The cabin sits shut-down, cold-frozen and empty, dead mice in the traps, waiting for me to drink alone there in the dark.

Sweet Christ, I could really use a beer! I should have had two pints of Guinness with my Irish Breakfast the other morning.

@Savage: Heheh! Although I really like said person and am quite close to them, they sometimes just drive me MAD - to the point where the grenade-launcher option seems very appealing indeed. But rest assured, I'm NOT going to do anything to anyone.

Alright, let's cut the fucking drama and have some whiskey! I like the sauce and all the corny badassitude and heavenly inspiration it can bring. And so do you.

Motörhead were great. I spent a lot of money I don't really have and drank lots of beer and bourbon.

Better'n me, that's fer sure. We went at the last minute for fear that we'd never get the chance again. Great show. Not much into their recent output but so long as I can get drunk and go ape at their shows, i'm satisfied.

There's a fucking whisky festival on tomorrow and I didn't know about it.
Plus points? It's around the corner from where I work and I have a lunch break to take.
