Proprietary, I'm sure.
I have a request in at my local candy store to fetch me a bottle. Gonna see if it's worth a damn. Love Beam White and Beam Black, in addition to the premium line (Bookers, Bakers, Knob Creek, Basil Hayden's). You gotta admit they know bourbon, despite flavoring it with cherry. Gotta get that sorority girl cashola somehow.

Re: Jim Beam Devil's Cut
How much does this cost? Or maybe the question should be "Where does this fit in the Jim Beam pecking order"?
Is this supposed to relate to Jim Beam Black the way that Maker's 46 does to their regular product? Is it more premium than white but not as premium as black?

@John Barleycorn, still havent found a bottle in my neckathawoods, but from what I've seen online the SRP is $24 for a fifth, so pretty close to Beam Black.

Re: Jim Beam Devil's Cut
It's not bad, I polished off half a bottle last night. It's not sweet at all, it's got a pretty light burn, that lingers for just a bit. I consider it Jim Beam Black's younger brother that just got out the joint. It's got a good dose of ash and is a good two steps away from being considered smooth.
Name-wise, Devil's Cut, it sounds ridiculous. In terms of the standard Beam line up, make no mistake, it fits right in, just behind Beam Black. Don't roll into this expecting Booker's or Knob Creek, this bottle is clearly a standard Beam release. It's good, but it's not knocking anybody over.
Edited to add: I'm finished with it, I'm putting the remainder on my bottom shelf, I probably won't have it anymore unless a guest wants some. It is neither pronounced or memorable. It's good though - but there's a ton of "good" Bourbon out there.

Thanks to Casino's review and the $21 for a 750ml pricetag, I didn't buy this last night. Went with bean Rye instead. $13

Re: Jim Beam Devil's Cut
Nice writeup, Casino. Still havent found a bottle around Tampa, but I would like a taste. Hopefully I can find a bar with it so I dont have to lay out for a whole bottle.
