"If we take habitual drunkards as a class, their heads and their hearts will bear an advantageous comparison with those of any other class. There seems ever to have been a proneness in the brilliant and warm-blooded to fall in to this vice." - Abraham Lincoln in an address to the Washington Temperance Society in 1842

Started with ballantines scotch, now on to more Canadian whiskey. I can't stand the boredom of a night without drinking.

It was so good that 1 turned into 2 turned into 3. Now I am having my "1" for tonight. We'll see how this goes...

I've been doing a bit of a clearinghouse tonight. Started with the last bit of my buffalo trace, then a couple highballs to kill off my Old Fitzgerald 100, now working away at my full bottle of Evan Williams 1783.

I saw Lech before. I nominate that beer for a McDowell's award. The award is based on Coming To America's McDowell's restaurant and its striking similarity to McDonald's. In the case of Lech, it seems to be taking its packaging cues from Beck's. Glad to hear the beer is good.

Other winners of the McDowell's award are Dairy Duchess ice cream parlor, Harty's fast food restaurant, and Sankyo home electronics.

Haha, Coming to America is hilarious. Back when Eddie Murphy was actually funny.
Lech has a unique sweetness to it that's interesting. Not sure which beer to compare it to though.
Oh, and I love Beck's.

I'm one into this six-pack of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and when those are done, I have a growler of Kölsch from a local brewery as backup. Cheers.
