Starbucks is just the beginning phase. Pretty soon they'll realize that Starbucks is associated with The Man and they'll get tired of all the grownups with jobs getting in their way, so they'll move on to some shitty coffee shop on the other side of town that nobody knew about.

I wish that someone would update the above.

I've been watching Madmen lately, not bad! A bit slow, but filled with lots of drinking and it looks like a good storyline is starting to develop.

Taste is subjective, but I watched like 2 seasons of Mad Men and found it very hard to like. Yeah, people drank, yeah, people fuck each other. It just stinks too much of "look how far we've come, can you believe everyone smoked?!?!?" and doesn't really go anywhere from there. But lots of people like it so whatev.

Yeah, I'm only on season 1, but I like it watching it once in a while... I'm definitely not as obsessed about it as Rescue me, but I'm enjoying it so far. It is a bit slow I gotta admit.

I starting watching Dexter from the beginning when the season of Boardwalk Empire ended. It felt kind of slow and cheesy at first too- I think shows just take a little bit before you start feeling interested in the plot and characters. Overall I think it's a good show that just has a couple annoying characters/actors and seems to sometimes have kind of repetitive storylines.

I'm looking forward to Mad Men coming back so there's something worth watching that airs on live tv again. Although, OnDemand is still my favorite innovation because I never remember when anything comes on.

Dexter hits a shitwall on season 3, up until there it's a great show!

For you nerds out there, anyone of you seen Stargate Universe? I have the Syfy Channel on my digital tv, but with three kids (and the wife!) I have no time to watch, although I am a huge sci-fi and Stargate fan.

it's been canceled. it certainly had potential, and some decent acting, but the writing left a lot to be desired.
