Drinking is a lot cheaper and safer at home. It's a dangerous world out there unless you are in a rural area. Had to do some heavy lifting today for extended period and my back and legs are spasm and pain. Will crash and burn early tonight. Body is just begging for rest. Just a shadow of my former self. The drinks are easing... too exhausted to fix dinner...

Life without books, (made of paper and leather and so forth) is too dreadful to contemplate. I am never so much at peace as when I sit in my library (on my parent's castoff loveseat that my stepson vomited on, after drinking a large amount of stolen liquor) (but it's okay, because I scrubbed it and covered it with a purple velour slipcover) (which one of my darling daughters tore up a bit) but hey, it works. And the important thing is the books. (And the gargoyles and witches and Ouija boards and crystal balls and Matroyoshka dolls and all that other stuff.
The tarot cards have been moved up a flight.
