A recent study* has shown that South Koreans down twice as many shots as the next hardist drinking country.

A brief summary of the league tables detailing the average shots of liquor (a shot being taken a 50mls of spirits of 37.5% ABV or stronger) drunk by an adult each week to be as follows:

1.7 supped by U.S. residents.
2.2 had by Brit. Cits.
2.7 finished by Finns.
4.4 necked by Nipons.
5.2 polished off by the Polish.
6.3 rushed down by Russians.
13.7 seen off by South Koreans.

Perhaps it's time for a Korean language edition of The Modern Drunkard Magazine?
