Paint Your Wagon
This was not received well by the critics but so what? It was a great laff whether or not the stars got along with each other.

Found myself in the Matrix and took the red pill. Now I want the blue pill and my bottle and leave me alone.

T2 drunken day
For you all unfamiliar with it: there`s this computer in the future called "Drynet", that after the big "wipeout" or "lastcall" or what you wanna call it, sent back a cab driver to our time to kill the inventor of a drink that got people enjoying a good time again. Only this time, they try to water down or destroy the drink itself...

Try this one, "Wake in Fright", only of the earliest examples of Australian nihilist cinema, that would later go on to produce "Mad Max" and it's sequel, better known to our US co-Drunkardists as, "The Road Warrior".
Watch, "Wake with Fright" and enjoy. Really, do watch it. It's been missing for 40 years and now, for a few weeks, you can see it on YouTube for free. I beg you to take advantage of this and enjoy a bloody good movie!

Oh...and it's got more boozing, fighting and (unnecessary) kangaroo killings in it, than you could wave a semi-filled glass of hooch at...

Just viewing the trailer I'm like how did I miss this. It appears this was early enough to influence the production of many films that followed in this genre.Palinka wrote:Try this one, "Wake in Fright", only of the earliest examples of Australian nihilist cinema, that would later go on to produce "Mad Max" and it's sequel, better known to our US co-Drunkardists as, "The Road Warrior".

John Mcclaine when he was cool. Between part 3 and 4 they must have done terrible things to him.
Never bothered watching part 5... Should have named it: Dry slow, with no vengeance

Re: Movies We'd Like to See Again
Definitely yes. The original Die Hard broke ground with treatment and special effects. It was worth it's price at the box office.
