I thought it had plenty of gravitas. All the stuff with Jim Gordon and Harvey Bullock could have come straight out of one of the "Law and Order" stable, and Sean Pertwee as Alfred, especially in his scenes with "Young Master Bruce", is nothing short of brilliant.
That said, the whole Carmine Falcone/Fish Mooney stuff is a trifle boring, saved only by The Penguin.

Yes. PENGUIN. I cannot make sensible comments on entertainment while undrunk. I will however fix this handicap in very foreseeable future.

Rejoice! A TV series based on "The Evil Dead" (starring the mighty Bruce Campbell) will be hitting our TV screens in 2015!

Some more animated fun; check out, "Judge Dredd: The Animated Series" (including "Judge Dredd: Superfiend" - a Judge Dredd vs. Judge Death face-off)
A follow up and bridge from the 2012 "Dredd" movie.
Well worth a watch.

Thanks for that Palinka.

One that is most certainly worth checking out; "Mary Shelley's Frankenhole". Funny as hell and grossly genius.

Amazon (on demand, rental and for sale) are bringing us Philip K. Dick's masterpiece, "The Man in the High Castle".

And Netfix will be streaming the first two episodes of, "Better Call Saul" (the prequel to their excellent show, "Breaking Bad"), on Feb. 9th and 10th (after which, it will be available from their, "On Demand" service).

It should be a good late Winter/early Summer for the coach potatoes; so stock up on hooch, make sure that you have your Payment Card Number both close at hand and written largely and neatly (so that it's easy for you to read).
