Some years ago, my wonderful dentist (working in a terrible "credit dentistry" shop) was from Israel. The reason he was working in that crap dental clinic was because he came from a foreign country. As soon as he satisfied whatever regs we have, he left, and went to Loma Linda, where I am sure he is doing superbly, and has boatloads of satisfied patients.

I googled that place too.

Question: what happens on the eighth day?

DRINK?

Of course! It's an 8 day week each week! three saturdays and no Mondays.

They do not drink or smoke or eat fast food hamburgers. They got me two out of three.

No, the Loma Lindyans are very religious Christians, and they believe in the whole health food keep the body clean kind of thing. I respect that, but I am still going to toss down alcohol, so they will probably shun me. They are totally cool though, and save little kids from cancer, and that sort of thing. Ooh rah to Loma Linda medical center. Yay!

Yerba mate, followed by two from the night before. Unless I'm not working.

Ah, the legal herb. It will get you high. (Lady Savage, take note. No need for toxic fumes.)

Ahhh. February 2. Groundhog Day. If I walk outside and see my shadow, it's six more hours of drinking.
