If I'm going to risk alcohol poisoning again, it'll be for something better than Franzia...

And yeah, "death by $5 box wine" has zero appeal. "Death by 5 day vodka bender after slaughtering an entire enemy battalion" sounds much better. Valhalla or bust...

Btw, I think I lent my kilt to a friend who wanted to play some of these stupid life-action-medieval games.
Never heard of him again... duh*
But it was more akin to a carpet-sheet anyhow
*Edit: He was probably beheaded with a rubber-sword

LARP is a world into which I have no desire to immerse myself.oettinger wrote: No, you`re great!

Zombie hunting though...
Taken a couple years ago. Severely hungover sporting about 50lbs of kit and live ammo... Been doing it almost ten years now.

Zombie hunting in a kilt and a boonie hat while severely hungover. Alright, I have to admit that's pretty damn stylish.Rev. Dead Corpse wrote:
In lieu of a chest rig, you might want to invest in a load bearing tactical vest with MOLLE webbing and modular pockets. Easier on the shoulders than conventional straps. The ammo configuration will carry up to eight 30 round AR mags, and if you're feeling extra happy a one-hundred round Beta C-Mag in a pouch on either hip. Rucksacks with integrated hydration systems are pretty gnarly too. Hard to tell from the photo, but the scope looks like an ACOG. If so, excellent choice. Zombie head shots all day long out to several hundred yards with 77 grain BTHP.
I suppose it would be too much to add a claymore or a battle axe to your zed slaying kit?

Re: Anyoen up for this?
The chest rig is a MOLLE plate carrier. I even have custom plates for front and rear. Has map pouch, two pistol mag pouches, and 3 double 30 round pouches. I have a Large ALICE that I keep even more "oh shit it'd be really good to have that in a 'grab-n-go' situation" including a med kit.Badfellow wrote:

Looking for a scramasax at some point and a bearded axe. Already have a hand-and-a-half arming sword from Arms and Armor and a khukri from Khukri House in Napal.
