Yes. That was based on a true story about "Liver Eating Johnson'. He was one badass injun killer. They eventually left him alone in the end. It was like he earned god like status among the tribes.

Red Skelton's classic comedy segment from Metros "Ziegfeld Follies" (1946).

"Guzzler's Gin, a real smoooooth drink".
You should laugh your ass off. Imagine finding a place to sit down after that? How do you get your ass back?

Watched "Golden Gate" last night with my Lady, and although it was hours long, there was a lot of booze and gunfights.

yeah, yeah, Cimino bankrupted United Artists for spending so much on period piece sets and costumes and huge crowds of extras and cockfighting roosters died and horses exploded blah blah blah

but what a solid flick.

Gunfight at OK Corral, the Burt Lancaster Kirk Douglas version. Cheesy but that makes it fun, overacted but that makes it iconic.

More important, the relentless Doc Halliday imbibing. My favorite western.

Don't do it, Billy...

I agree. The Kurt Russell, Val Kilmer version was good too, but it was a remake and lacked the cheesy star power of the original. Kilmer did know how to act like a real juicer with a hot trigger finger. Got to give him that.
