Newest booze FAVORITE!!!

Post by DrunkAgain »

Every time I go to the liquor store I try and pick up something I haven't had before. Yesterday it was this!

95% rye...90 proof. Drinking it neat. Damn fine booze.
Anyone else have any finds to share???

Well, I can tell you one thing you can't find anymore. Old Weller wheated bourbon. I could get it two months ago but not anymore. I was told that it's impossible to get anymore because it's become so popular. I think it's the fucking Chinese. First, they cornered the market on single malt scotch. Now, they're cornering the market on top end bourbons. Rye is next!

Discovered a few things lately, mainly in gin as it is under going a revolution in small batch production over here (can recommend Eden mills oak aged with ginger ale). keep an eye out for a small company local to me called Sanction Gin. It is incredibe and the maker recommends it either neat or with a minimum of tonic.

other than that Old J tiki fire has the ability to warm me through a treat.

I'm a big fan of wheated whiskey, if you can find Bernheim original try it. It's smooth like butter!

Just had a double of Vikre Sugarbush Whiskey with dinner. Normally, I'm not a fan of the flavor adulturated whiskeys, but in this case the sugarbush maple (no, not that fake maple shit) works out to almost taste like certain dark rums that are aged for aeons in the cask.

At Total Wine those fuckers won't put out the small batch Bourbons anymore! You have to ask at front desk or make special freaking order!

I bet the rich are stock piling our best booze in their multi-million dollar bunkers so they can get drunk and laugh while us "commoners" suffer and die after the apocalypse. Bourbon and moonshine are the only truly American liquors I can think of. The fact that their availability is drying up is an abomination! I demand that all bourbon that is manufactured in KY be reserved for American Citizens only! You must show proof of Citizenship to buy it!

Revolt! Revolt! Revolt!

Just remember to stockpile enough ammo, and you'll be able to obtain whatever else you need.
