...Our urban area has a population of 3+ million, so, while I may have met both of these stalwart drinkers while out drinking at a bar, I suspect it is unlikely.
We'll have to improve that probability for future circumstances. It'll take some doing to conjure up Oggar from his drinking tomb, but it will be eminently worth the effort.

Greetings,
I am Jim. I recently found some issues of Modern Drunkard Magazine from a year long subscription many years ago and remembered there was a board that was amusing at times. I figured since I'm sick and wasn't working today why the hell not. I'm partial to beer-cheap local stuff and fancy dark stuff and whiskey-bourbon and Irish mostly, scotch occasionally. Cheers!

Welcome aboard Scream Ale. This is our own drunkards paradise. A nonjudgmental and even enabling corner of the web. I cut my drinking teeth stealing Genny's of all types from my o'l man. Mostly light but Cream ales and 12 horse for special occasions

Post often. Post drunk. Post drunk often.

Dude must be legit. Not too many people outside of Upstate, NY know what you're talking about when you mention "Genny Screamers". Welcome aboard fellow native of Newyorkistan and consumer of highly toxic fermented beverages!

Welcome Scream. Is Webster near the Canadia border? If so...ya think you can possibly bring us poor drunkards some beef on wecks and good Candiania poutine from up in those parts? Depending on your proximity to these things of course. It would be most appreciative. Glad to meet you dear sir. Looking forward to the future argument of Memorex vs. Maxell and which one makes a better mix tape.

Post often. Post drunk. Post drunk often.
I go back and forth between the scream ale and original recipe. Ah 12 Horse. I miss back when they revived that one and had it in the stubby bottles. Have you ever tried the Bock?

Nice meeting you as well. If I had to guess I would say that Webster is 3-4 hours from Canadada. Beef on weck sounds like a good idea, poutine looks a little too fucked up even for me. Memorex vs. Maxell argument? I have more experience using Maxell and can't really complain but I haven't really encountered any issues with Memorex either. I can say that whatever those no name 60 minute tapes I used to get at the dollar store back in high school that came 3 to a package with no case were pretty much complete crap.

I'll send up some smoke signals and find out. It may take a few days to get an answer though. Reception up there is terrible.

Depends upon the type of smoke one uses for signals. You know, like sativa would be alert and talkative. Indica would take it's time.

Hey, drinking is fun! Everytime, it feels like the first time.

Mmmmm. DRINK.

Look into my eyes
You will see
What Canada mean to me
Search your heart
Search your soul
And when you find me there, you'll search no more
Don't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
You can't tell me it's not worth dyin' for
You know it's true
Everything I do
I do it for Canada
Look into your heart
You will find
There's nothin' there to hide
Take me as I am
Take my life
I would give it all, I would sacrifice
Don't tell me it's not worth fightin' for
I can't help it, there's nothin' I want more
You know it's true
Everything I do
I do it for Canada
There's no love
Like Canada's love
And no other
Could give more love
There's nowhere
Unless Canada's there
All the time
All the way, yeah
Look into your heart, Canada
Oh Canada, can't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
I can't help it there's nothin' I want more
Yeah, I would fight for Canada
DRINK!

Let's rush to triumph over the young. And guess who started the arcade fire, it may have been accidental, but the celine caved in and did crash onto your loverboy's head. He was one of the men without hats.

As wallopped as I was, then, it seems like it's all gone a little bit Tom Waits for me, now. Embarrassingly, the wink of a half bottle marks me out as a shandy lightweight. As the room takes on a teenage tumble, so shall I take a brazen sup.
At least it may give me the strength to put some beers in the fridge.

I don't know if I need Bulleit or Portobello Road for later on, probably both. Tough choice for a Tuesday. Still, I didn't get where I am today by shirking the big decisions. It's all a question of shifting my arse off from the couch.
