It is Sled Dog Doppelbock from Wagner Valley Brewing Co. Never even heard this brewery until I came across this sixer. Doppelbocks are a rarity for me, the 8.5% alcohol is a plus though. I also saw an IPA from this place on the shelf. I don't usually drink those until the warmer months of the year. But seeing as how spring will not be coming to upstate NY this year I have little hope for summer showing up.

@Lush City hellzapoppin'! Back on the straight (!) and narrow of the double g&t. Throwing in a couple of dashes of angostura for the first time, it seems a taste of failed Christmas and a happy Stollen cake. I've been on the lash for the last five hours, and yet I have become noticeably more beautiful since I started this message, so I'm not moaning. Quite the opposite, in fact. Spotufy or wharever is gonna get a bumfu.., yeah, I coul dsee a nan getting a groove on.
Is it a 'Pink gin' or a 'Hemingway'? I can't imagine his nibs drinking this..?

I've always called gin and Angostura bitters Pink Gin. Dry vermouth ain't exactly my fave, so that's usually how I prepare my Martinis at home. It's one of those drinks that looks girly but actually has some complexity and packs some decent strength.
