The Graveyard looks to be heinous. May have to try it next week. Bacchus help me.

Yeah. That's going to a quick ticket to Blackout Island.

But what if you cut out the clear liquor. Subbed Jim for Jack. Subbed something Irish for Johnny Walker. Bushmills? Kept the lager and Irish stout of your choice. Maybe Genesee and Murphy's for me.
It might not be awful. Still it's mostly an express lane to the island.

Trade Jim for TJD and Powers for Johnny Walker.

No self-respecting Modern Drunkard drinks the Traitor. The magazine reached a national audience on The Boycott. Remember when FKR went on Rachel Ray?

Go watch that clip and then slap yourself if you ever consider a Traitor and Coke again.

Yeah Rooster I remember the Boycott. I have only ever bought one Brown Forman bottle in 8 years since I signed. A bottle of Old Forrester Signature. A momentary lapse in judgment.

I posted it without explanation for two reasons.

1. I was a little lit when posting and forgot the disclaimer.

B. I wanted to see if anyone paid attention to the fact that a supposed bartender called TJD a bourbon. If you just listen to the recipe without the visual you'll hear bourbon and can use any of your choosing.

Also if I was a tille less in my cups I would have searched till I found the video of just the Graveyard and not those Throwaways at the end. I mean who the fuck doesn't know how to pour a black and tan?

Yeah, yeah and I bet your undies are denim too. :D

No really though I like the cap. Not many people can rock that. Graveyard looks pretty cool too.

You reminded me:
I posted this picture years ago on the forum under the thread "While the veil is thinnest" about our excursions into the cemetery on Samhain. I think it was Ruiner who replied "The veil must be made of denim."
So thanks for the reminder and a good laugh.

I used to live near this awesome cemetery (Oakwood Cemetery in Syracuse, NY -- check out the pics on Google if you're bored or appreciate this sort of thing). It had tons of those huge monuments, and all the graves were situated on these big green hills that were wooded. The place was fucking magical in the Fall. I should have drank in there but the thought never occurred to me for some reason (I was too busy drinking PBRs with some of the bums and then retreating to my place when I didn't want to share anymore).

That looks like a neat spot as well, ThirstyDrunk.
Don't worry. We're in no hurry.

Ever visit Mt. Hope cemetery in Rochester, NY? Beautiful old boneyard, very hilly. Perfect in the autumn and good drinking spot as well.
