Naw, trust me. You want a nice Calvados warmed up in a snifter while relaxing by the fireside.

Picked up some more St. Bernardus as well as a couple 4 packs of Delirium Noel and a 12 pack of the locally famed Summit Winter Ale which was on sale for $9.99.

Also deployed an auxiliary refrigerator unit in the kitchen sector to handle storage of the holiday beverage stockpiles. If you call yourself a drunk, you should probably have an extra fridge dedicated exclusivelt to your craft.

Excellent choices Mr. Badfellow. Cold weather in Wisconsin allows for the garage to become a pseudo refrigerator as well. I've got my stockpile within easy reach on the steps.

I got ahold of some Cigar City Brewing Maduro Brown Ale last night - it doesn't pack a big punch due to a lower ABV but is still a nice full flavored beer. I also decided to splurge and bought the Surly Darkness to drink on Thanksgiving - it will help me deal with the family......will report back on whether it was worth the high price per bottle.

Robinson's Old Tom. I always try to buy some at christmas, to leave at my parents' house for the next year. It ages well and it's nice to do a back to back of aged versus new

Well, the thing is, Armagnac is an all seasons thing to me while Cognac feels Inexplicably wintery. I don't know why.
Thank you for your nice words.
