Well AD, you managed to find another clip with some less than stellar air guitaring going on. I don't even know where to look. Let's start with that rhythm guitar guy in the back right. Is he a real guy, or just a muppet of some kind. He never stops bouncing up and down. Is he "performing" another song, perhaps?

I don't think the guy sitting behind that drum kit is in Dire Straights at at all. I don't even think he knows how to play drums. It looks like he hearned his moves from watching Saturday morning cartoons (probably Scooby Doo).

Finally, what the fuck is that bass player doing. If he was any worse of an air bass player, he would be trying to blow into that instrument.

On the upside, Mark Knopfler is doing an acceptable job.

First of all, love them or hate them, Toto was a very talented band. No really my cup o' tea, but I always admired their ability. Those guys were studio musicians before forming Toto. Because of this, they were the real musicians we heard playing the music on MANY of our favorite bands' records in the 1970s. Of course, a studio musician has a face for radio and should never be seen in public. Or on videos.

That fat fucking singer was very awkward and didnt know how to move. So the video director said "we gotta give him something to do with his hands... I got it, let's find an acetylene torch and heat that fucking microphone up to the point of almost melting!" This is why he is constantly switching hands to hold the thing while trying to still act like he's singing.

This song was released in 1978. Know what the #1 show on TV was that year? You guessed it. Mork and Mindy. That explains the rainbow suspenders and shitty hair styple adopted by Toto's lead guitar player.

Keyboard players. Two of them. One in designer jeans and the other wearing a scarf for some reason. Jesus, besides a way to cover hickies, why would anyone (besides Elvis Presley) need to wear a scarf on stage?

Oh, and what reason does anyone EVER have that would cause the need to have a double neck guitar. It's a fucking music video. You are not a one man band with cymbles between you knees. Quit trying to show off.

Preparing for tomorrow with a little Black Friday.

Donald Fagen is doing his best impression of a quadriplegic, backed by 18 guitar players, 12 keyboardists, 37 backup singers, 4 drummers, the entire USC horn section, and one glockenspiel.
