Today, at Midnight-thirty, me and missus willies awoke to a very cold, old house.
Yup. LPG done run out.
We covered our bed with a bear-hide and woke up with frost on our eyelashes.
Proper: electric range oven on, its door open, call for delivery.
It arrived an hour ago.
Black rum warms the belly and the spirits, just not the body. After 10 hours and a fifth of sipping all the while, I'm ready to DRINK!

I was due to work today 12-8pm. I couldn't be fucked so tried to book off from 4pm. all approved appart from the bastard last hour of my shift. this meant I could have 4pm-7pm off but still had to be back in the office at 7pm to work my final hour. I was gonna just cancel and work it all but decided to protest their bullshit. went to the pub and drank 11 pints over the 3 hours I had off along with a good few shots of bourbon. never has my last hour been so blissful. I did get a can of stella to nip out to the smoking area with halfway through the final hour to maintain buzz, it's been a great work day.

Getting ready to go into the great outside to run errands. Hopefully getting supplies to get the old record player up and running again.

We were watching my VHS Freddy Mercury tribute, I thought it would be funny if the big metal queen sign would crash on stage. because they`d have to do 30 more tributes.
Like the Robert Plant Freddy Tribute Disaster Tribute,
The in memoriam Freddy Tribue Stage accident Tribue for Brian May
Never forget in our harts tribute, George Michael and Elton John, ode to the tribute

So you are a hot dog lover? They have to be my second passion next to booze. I hope you feel the same.Artful Drunktective wrote: ↑Mon Feb 11, 2019 10:21 amToday I learned while shopping at a grocery store in Germany that there are a lot of things called "American" style. Evidently there is such a thing as "American dressing". (Basically Thousand Island). Don't y'all love the flag on the label? 'Murrica! F yeah! Oh yeah and check out these "American sausages".
Found myself in the Matrix and took the red pill. Now I want the blue pill and my bottle and leave me alone.

Love love love hot dogs. The best ones are at the ball park. Sadly I've never had a real Chicago Dog on a poppy seed bun and I've always wanted to try one.

For breakfast I drank the tiniest can of coke I have ever seen- like the size of a shot glass, and had what I'm going to coin the "Oettinger Special" which consisted of a block of Leberkäse (can't explain it but basically German bologna mixed with SPAM only not as good as SPAM), a block of feta cheese on top of it, the next layer was "American Style" bacon, sauteed onions, and topped with a fried egg. I should have taken a picture of it. Oett claims it is supposed to be eaten while drunk to fully appreciate it but I was not (although working on it now).
It's warm today so now thanks to Lush City I am dying for beer and a Chicago dog with tons of toppings. Beings how I am surrounded by a plethora of German wieners (literally on so many levels), I shall make my own!
Speaking of American stuff, I went to this website today where they sell American products in Europe and here are a few of the "bestseller" items that were on there:
Easy Cheese (the spray cheese in the can)
Twinkies
Pringles
Mountain Dew
Pop Tarts
Cheetos
Chocolate Lucky Charms (Ew)
Hidden Valley Ranch dressing
Original Kraft Mac n' Cheese
Turkey Gravy in the can (Why? I mean really? Why?)
Only in America!

That is exactly the kind of reporting I was secretly hoping you'd do. Not the Travel Trips for the Hoighty Toighty or that surface-skimming crap on flaky Top Ten sites.
No, this here is exactly the best. Thanks!

Been battling flu-like symptoms the past few days. At one point, I couldn't even hold down my own saliva without puking. Guess I'm living up to my username.
Don't worry. We're in no hurry.
