I was drinking in my back-up dive bar yesterday, and after I got drunk I decided to go back to the scene of the crime. Not only am I not 86'd, nobody had even heard any talk making the rounds about anything that I might have done Friday night. In fact, the woman who I'd upset (or maybe just thought I'd upset) came in and acted completely normal, she didn't say a thing to me despite sitting nearby. Maybe I made this whole thing bigger than it was. But goddamb - I'm glad I got my bar back! In fact I had a rip-roaring good time last night. Will be going back tonight.

WOOHOO! - to quote Homer Simpson.
Of course no one said anything, no one remembered! LOL! Everyone at the time was probably in the midst of a blackout anyway.

I got kicked out off a bar in Exeter England once. The bartender said "you`ve had enough"! And my reply was No.
I ended up sleeping in some park nearby and Palinka was looking for me: fat metal dude, red bandana, slightly loaded, seen any?

Ah Exeter.

I was in the dolphin or whatever there and got pretty hammered. Took me a while to find my way back and didn't manage to close the door behind me when I finally figured my way back to Palinka's place. Someone was going to work place on a bus stop and helped me with directions in the X of AM hours, had a short conversation and stumbled forth. I recall asking if I should have one more but can't remember if the place was closing or the answer was no. Exeter is built weird. I usually am pretty good at navigating my drunk ass in places I've never been before. I've only gotten lost like 2-3 times in a city I don't know from prior.

Same outing where I almost got in to a fight because someone's drunk local ass figured out I was polish plumber taking their jobs. I did show him my passport but that made little difference to the gentleman at question. I also remember their gin tonics were too frigging sweet there.

Never 86’ed. From anywhere.

I have been told by some of my close friends/bartenders that it’s tome for me to stop drinking/go home/leave for the night/quit breaking glasses when I set them down.

Never walked out the door. Never forced to leave. Certainly never 86’ed.

If it’s your favorite bar I’d think you want to help take care of the place. Sure, you can sloppy, but it shouldn’t be the place for the worst of your behavior.

I'm honestly trying to figure out if I WAS 86'd from my neighborhood bar as I have no memory of anything past saddling up, ordering a usual (double whiskey and coke) and watching wrestling on their television. (They have the WWE Network and the owner -- who is an advent fan, loves pro-wrestling -- shows it regularly.)

I remember watching a Roddy Piper match at midnight and the next thing I know, I'm coming that morning, in my parked car. Apparently I decided to sleep it off instead of driving (drunk me is responsible).

Whatever the case, I have no idea what I did in the lost span of time and it kind of weirds me out. Anyone got any tips of proper recon? I don't think I did anything crazy, but who knows, knowing me...

I follow the rubbish treck, check recent phonecalls / emails even, check cash left, wondering, check again, go online banking to check recent ATM actions, be confused. Then proceed to look at clothes I slept in. Vomit or munchies? Check
Then check, how the heck did I get home. Where are the keys? Check
Brush teeth, lock into mirror for first time in two days. Scars? Any damage? Lipgloss? Check
Pee and shit, blood? Dildo? Check
Go online, check modern drunkard late nite posting. Quoted seven times, ouch, check

Go to fridge, mix a drink. Coulnd`t care less. PROSIT

Sometimes I can recollect things as I try to write them down in my diary the next morning. And if you use Chrome, you can check your browser history by pressing CTRL H. It can help you tell what time you went to bed, or lead you to stupid messages you may have written.

One morning I wondered why a shrimp burrito was on my desk, completely uneaten. I usually pick up food as I walk home and eat it before going to bed. Why was it still there, and why, if I had not eaten, was I not the least bit hungry? As I cleaned out my purse, I found a bunch of napkins, and it was then that I remembered that I had stopped off and eaten in a fast food place prior to stopping off for the shrimp burrito.

There have been two occasions where I went to the bar and went slowly and awkwardly through greetings and ordering my first drink, wondering if I had been 86d from the previous visit. When I finally mention that I wondered if I had been 86d, the bartender laughed both times and said, "Of course not!"

So back in the 1980s Hunter S. Thompson used to do a (supposedly) weekly column for the SF Examiner. Around that time he made an appearance at the Kennel Club (now the Independent.) There was a long table and about six other guys besides Hunter - a Rolling Stone writer, maybe a newspaper columnist. They talked about various things and later on took questions from the audience - I asked one (I forget what it was), but Hunter took it quite seriously and gave me a good answer, so I was pleased.

The table had a silver ice bucket with a big bottle of Chivas, I believe. When the "show" was over one of the other guys with Hunter grabbed the Chivas bottle (which still had a fair amount in it) and handed it to a guy in the audience. He proceeded to pass it around to me and 3-4 other guys while we talked about the "show."

After a few minutes, some other guy walks up to our circle. He's looking down at the floor and doesn't say anything. When someone passes the bottle to him he suddenly spins on his heel and heads for the door. We all shout after him but of course he doesn't turn around.

I had about a half a bottle of Rolling Rock in my hand and it's a good thing I never played high school baseball because I hurled that fucker at the back of the guy's head as hard as I could. But I didn't have the velocity so it sorta hit the back of his heel and the floor at the same time. Beer and green glass everywhere.

I was then escorted from the premises by a rather large gentleman. I protested, "But, but...he stole Hunter's Chivas!" He nodded almost sympathetically and said, "Yeah, I saw what happened...but you still have to leave."

And *that* was the only time I've been 86ed from a bar...
