First they came for my books. And I
broke a bottle of bourbon over their stinking heads and opened another and drank whilst blasting Zep until the neighbors dog barked out a kidney.

Edit and clearly booze over books

Fish and chips.

I'd pick books. Books on how to make booze.

I've had chicken and I've had waffles, but I've never had chicken and waffles. I would think the maple syrup would make the meat taste funny,

The waffles usually have their own designated area so as to avoid any unintentional cross contamination of the sweet and savory vectors.

Hahaha. Never considered the uh...vectors as you say. I wouldn't turn it down if it had white gravy in place of syrup. Actually ...I wouldn't turn it down period. Can a red-blooded 'murrican complain about fried chicken of any kind?!

Pretty sure I had something similar at the Hi-Lo only it involved a glazed donut and it was scrumptious! Thanks BF!

You are welcome, ma'am. I believe it was the Notorious P.I.G.

Y'all have to try raspberry jalapeño jam on your waffles sometime. Goes great with the crispy buttermilk fried chicken.

Nope Oett had the P.I.G. I had the Gary Cooper - buttermilk fried chicken, maple-bourbon syrup and country gravy- extreme tonguegasm.

And yes agreed, jalapeño jams are amazeballs. Shit we Love!

Easy on the profanity... but yes, maple syrup and sausage is really good.

hmm, makes me want to go out and get some cheap beef and whang the shit out of it for chicken fried steak. the secret is to toss some bacon and bacon fat in the white gravy. why grumpy and i don't weigh two hundred pounds each must amount to the fact that in our old age we can only eat so much before we have to quit.

One, yes I am old. Sixty. I cannot reconcile that with the way I feel, even though I have health issues. The old Grump is even older. And as to the pizza--dear god boughten pizza sucks ass. Make your own. It is not difficult I did it, once, though usually it is Grumpy's thang. No anchovies, please.
