Re: Fundraising for The Memorial Fund
Alas and alack!
It's been four weeks attempting to procure Allen's Coffee Brandy for our good Dear Booze.
One bottle was supposedly "broken" during shipment, or was it broken into? I hope for the latter, because the former is a horrible abuse of Lovely Miss Ethyl, in all her shapes and forms (this one quite, um, eenteresting, mixed with cream)
I even attempted to have a Bevmo take my money to procure it and hold it in the dusty, firey desert for our favorite fiend. Bevmo will not respond. I take this personally.
But now, family is traveling here from the Rez, stopping along the way in New Hampster, and they will procure this marvelous tincture, made in lower Maine (Massholia) and sold only in what is currently known as "Maine"
Chin up, dusty dude. It is on its way.

Shhh...I remember now. It was an empty bottle, refilled with owl balls. I think they got shookened too hard.
Shaken. Shakened. Shook. Shookened.
They got tossed about briskly. Ahhh, fergit it

Re: Fundraising for The Memorial Fund
Rather, New Year's. The auction lot was mailed out yesterday to the new owner.
A shot glass that has traveled around the globe, a strange book with drunken, mad ravings scribbled into the margins and corners, and a glass of unique elixir.
This bottle should not break: it is made out of polycarbonite *kaff kaff plastic kaff* and its contents are indeed unique to the locale to which my Lady and I travel in a few hours.
Allen's coffee brandy.
Bacchus help you, Dear Booze.

The Fundraiser for Fallen Drunkards is alive and well and living in California.
This is your opportunity to absorb the responsibility of joining the elite blood-in, blood-out brotherhood of extraordinary drunkards.
For those new to this process, here's what will happen:
As soon as I say "GO", the bidding will start. Prospective winners will post the amounts they are willing to pay as a reply on this thread. A reply anywhere else will not be considered. The contest will end at Midnight (Pacific Time) on October 31, 2019.
The winner will receive the Holy Grail of inebriation. It's a treasure that changes its owner's life forever.
What to expect if you win:

What to expect if you win:
- The lucky drunk will be contacted by Patchez for payment and by me for a shipping address.
- Once Patchez gives me a top secret signal, a package will be sent to the winner.
- Alcohol of my choosing - it will be something that is meaningful to me and that I want to share with you.
- The Holy Chalice - a shot glass that has traveled the globe and has served as a vessel for communion among the elite few who have held temporary possession. In short, you will drink from it.
- The Holy Book from which you will read and to which you will be expected to add your own message before releasing it to its next owner. DO NOT, EVER, share the information in this book with anyone else.
- A few other items of my choosing.

Re: Fundraising for The Memorial Fund
Are we just donating money, cause I can wait while everyone blows their load and bid one dollar more, right?

You can do whatever you'd like to do. No minimum bid. Highest bid wins it. Remember, it's for the kids.Rye and Coke wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2019 5:20 pmAre we just donating money, cause I can wait while everyone blows their load and bid one dollar more, right?

I hope this goes well. Often it`s a rough start with the bidding.
I won`t partake because I won the first bid centuries ago.
So chime in folks, Jimmy Fucking Lester can`t have it for 10 cheap ass bucks (he probably stole that money from some blind beggar)
