Amazing how not eating doesn't mean you are immune from diarhea. Cheers for punching the time clock in spite of illness.
Re: Your day in a nutshell. Share please.
Even worse, I didn`t have drunkarreah in weeks. Something is wrong, I need to drink more to figure it out
Drink!

Hamm's and whiskey on an empty stomach is the worst drunkarrhea I've ever had. The best cure for it is canned foods and frozen dinners. I'm quite serious - canned foods and frozen dinners straightened my digestion right out.

Gotta say, I'm smooth cruising on these light beers, and I've lowered my tolerance to make for more enjoyable nights with a very mild dehydration hangover and almost nothing else.
I'm actually getting a decent buzz at 6 which is crazy. Last month it'd take 12 by noon with some strong wine to even feel it and constant "morning sickness" till i drank it away. (Been there a lot)
All said, I'm craving whiskey, but I'm saving that for later. Low carb meals have been going well.
ThirstyBird is back baby! Chugs a beer in celebration*

My dear comrade, it sounds as though you have been abducted by aliens. It is rare that they go after drunken sots but there could be exceptions. Drinking and getting sloshed keeps those pesky aliens away and not interested. Everyone is happy!oettinger wrote: ↑Sun Oct 06, 2019 5:06 amOuch. Yeah, drink some painkiller tequilas and pass out for recovery. Atleast you remember what happened.Lush City wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2019 10:49 pmI've been nursing nasty scuff marks on my left knee sustained early yesterday evening returning home from happy hour. Tripped going up the outdoor staircase leading to my condo. The steps are concrete slabs with embedded gravel. I'm sure you've seen them. They just rip the flesh right off your bones if you fall on them. I was angry then and I'm angry now so I'm having another round!
Two sundays ago I woke up with my foot hurting in a strange way. Like I ran into something. My dim memory from the night before recalled nothing the like had happened. I file that under "unsolved drunk injury"
Found myself in the Matrix and took the red pill. Now I want the blue pill and my bottle and leave me alone.

I think if aliens abducted my drunken self they`d gladly return me within five minutes and never bother visiting earth again in the next 100 years.
Do they have minibars on UFOs?

So Oett and I thought it would be a great idea to get rid of our old area rug in exchange for an even bigger one. After a few drinks we thought we could tackle the task. He successfully removed the old rug on his own although he looked like he had been dusted in volcanic ash afterwards. The replacement rug was down at the foot of a nasty flight of steep stairs so we both had to carry it up. I have to say that we couldn't even pick it up it was so heavy...if I could guess, it was roughly about 450 lbs. :P We could barely even drag it.
The moral of the story is, don't believe it in the movies when they show how easy it is to schlep around a dead body wrapped in a Persian rug. I was actually thinking about it while I was balancing this rug on my body so it wouldn't slide down the stairs. Can people realistically and skillfully carry a burrito wrapped body to the trunk of a car, then possibly uphill and to a grave site or pier or some shit- effortlessly?! We couldn't even handle the rug on it's own, much less a dead body egg-rolled inside.
Lesson learned...next time we will seek out the expertise of Dear Booze, as he has extensive Persian rug hooker body disposal. His methods must be systematically on point as he is not in prison yet.
The good news however is, the new rug really ties the room together!

They have mega bars. They have a small box like building in the desert and when you go inside it turns into a huge casino with 3 story ceilings and free drinks! Just follow the map they give you and you will be amazed!

Went back to ancient India and smoked hashish with Lord Shiva.
Don't worry. We're in no hurry.

Today felt way too much like a Friday. I'm more than a little disappointed that I've still got two days to go. Thankfully there is plenty of beer.
Cheers and good luck all!

A typical day at work. However, one plus side.
Got the boss to order me a Caol Ila 12, which I'm going to get at-cost. Awesome. It comes in tomorrow. Reunited.
