Glenlivet shooter for starters. Waiting for the Old Rasputin to chill.
How much is a Glenlivet shooter for you?
More Scotch shooters would be awesome.
About 4-4.99. I've only ever seen them at the one bigger discount liquor. Do they have them out your way? I agree more Scotch shooters would be awesome. More whiskey shooters in general would be great, seems to be mostly flavored vodkas. It's a great way to try new booze.
Speaking of shooters, there was a Glenmorangie holiday pack that I am kicking myself for passing it up. It consisted of a fifth of Glenmorangie, the 10 year old I believe , and in place the usual glassware it came with two shooters of different Glenmorangie. Yeah I'm dumb as shit sometimes.
Hmm shooters. In germany in every store they lay them out in waiting line at the cashiers. Or bubble gum of course.
But they only have these disgusting Jäger, Korn, Fernetbranca things. Or "party" fruity shit.
Only bums buy those
here in the UK you pay like £3 for one of those little shooter bottles. and you can normaly get the 70cl bottle for £20-£25....Seems like a shitty investment on those prices. I did get a shit load of them for xmas though in various little sets, I do find then quite novel, especially when it's a strange shaped bottle and you get a little tiny scale version. All the whiskeys I got shooters of I've had them before so I'll just use them as road beverages for the walk to the pub...got a few little tiny gins I haven't tried though..
sorry to get off topic...I'm currently nailing ice cold cans of Heineken with some tjd single barrel (I got it as a present, the bastards wouldn't get any money from me)

Scored some of that Nick Offerman Lagavulin 11yr. Which I drank most of over the past two days.
Ooh nice score! How was it? Could you make some comparisons to the 16?
It's been too long since I've had the 16 to made any meaningful comparison; I won't try to bullshit you one.
It's a lovely little dram, definitely toned-down from my usual Laphroaig 10 and Ardbeg 10. I like my Scotch to taste like an oceanside bonfire of stolen antique furniture.
Tonight it's a Negroni served up.
As an aside, this past Friday I finally collected #3 on the bucket list. With a bottle of Buffalo Trace.

I was probably drunk when I said that, but I meant it.
The second best thing about a shot of Malört is the face the bartender makes when you order it.
