Soooooooooo... working at home = drinking at work? Productivity may suffer but morale is sure to go through the roof!

we used to hid a litre of rum in the freezer out of the cameras and just top up our complimentary fountain drinks all night. doing the banking at the end of the shift was sometimes a bit hazy.
The fountain drink decoy is perfect. I dunno why I didn't use that one more often.

I drank all day and came back in for my final our, hunkered down at my desk for an hour still drinking. In hindsight I probably only got away with it cause my office space at the time was away from most of the managers.
Yeah I would sneak out of work and hang out at a friend's house and drink all day and then go back as if I had been there all along. Nobody would have questioned it as my job allowed me to be off site a lot. My only concern was reeking like alcohol when I returned as I was caught by my boss once. I usually tried to mask it with coffee and snacks and it seemed to work.

Aren't adult Capri Suns just a straw jammed into a bag from the box wine?
Absolutely! Now if I coulda found a way to disguise it at my job. At least now I guess I don't have to worry about sneak drinking at work for a long time since I'm now "working" at home. And now I pretend to be workin' while I'm gettin' paid to drink in the comfort of mah own home. And I don't have to change out of my sweat pants from yesterday.

Did my share of that. In the later stages of my career tech had evolved to allow working from home. It made dealing with hangovers much easier and by that time I was on the way out and there were very few middle of the night calls.
Found myself in the Matrix and took the red pill. Now I want the blue pill and my bottle and leave me alone.

It was a convention is San Diego. I don't know the specifics of the mix, but it was roughly a 50/50 Vodka and OJ mix. Here is the kicker. Lemon infused ice cubes. I had never seen them before nor have I seen them since. It was in a 2 gallon Igloo water dispenser, like for camping. We strolled in at the start of the day and from that point on, we just maintained. Towards the end of the day we went open bar.

Then things got blurry.

Lemon infused ice cubes.
That sounds amazing. Could lemonade be used for a lazy cheap substitute I wonder?

Why not get it straight from the source? The way nature intended it.

Come to think of it, loading that with liquor and using it like a flask would be a great way to add a spritz to your soda at lunch.

I'm thinking lime infused ice cubes in a rickey might be a nice touch this summer.
