By far the best way to protect beer against both off flavors and its inevitable dulling of flavor over time is to buy it in cans.
Was about to say this, it stays fresh.
Shouldn`t be a problem though if you empty it quickly enough
Drink!

all depends though...if it's imported it could be a couple of months old before it even hits the shelf...even more sometimes.

Enjoying a maple mackinac fudge KBS from those wonderful bastards at Founders brewing. A bit strong on the fudge but still a damn good stout in my opinion. The regular KBS and even the original breakfast stout are a little more to my liking. But this thick and obscenely rich stout that weighs in at a hefty 11% ain't half bad. Cheers.

Doin' it right.
I'm drinking some Red Spot 15 -- Irish pot still whiskey. After looking up the prices online, I got a phat deal.
Don't worry. We're in no hurry.

PBR. I guess I'll make this my regular beer from now on. It's $12.49 for a 12 pack which is $2.16 more expensive than Rolling Rock. But it is also .4 higher in AbV.
My liquor store doesn't have Miller High Life in cans anymore! WTF?

my favorite basic bitch beer in the states was Coors Banquet...had a bit of flavor to it and was cheap as fuck.

Great pub name and a decent beer....don't see Bass often here anymore, it was the best selling beer in the world at one time.
Do you guys get the cask conditioned Bass then? I never saw any cask beer when I was in the states..would have been a little taste of home hah.

EW neat. Little chilly outside, thinking about making a hot toddy with some rye.

And, if I may, should you find yourself in Seattle, I strongly recomend The Delux Tavern, it's on Broadway on The Hill
