Its like I said in another thread. You cant come into a bar you don't know, talk shit to the owner all night and not expect him to 86 ya. Drunkards get kicked out of bars all the time. Its tough but thats the way it goes. Just like a bar owner reserves the right to refuse service to anybody, the MOD's here can ban whoever they feel like.

Obviously they can, but unless there were some deleted posts that were considerably more offensive than anything I read, I would have hoped they'd show more restraint and less didactic high-handedness.

But maybe that's just me, I must be the low-brow poster here.

I totally believe it, and what's more, I salute it. The last thing we want is this board, one of my few sources of pleasure on the web, turning into a gang of idiots flaming each other all the live long day. And I'm not sure where you got the idea that drunks are a bunch of flower power hippy types. From my experience drunks are more likely to accept strangers and their differences, yes, but are also more likely to take a swing when a jerk starts giving them shit for no good reason.

Tolerance for other real drunks of every breed, hell yes. Getting fucked with by jerks, no. Bounce em!

Sorry I've been silent. More pressing matters have come afoot at work, thus preventing me from posting with my normal indulgence.

Not to mention I feel like a damned traitor for not having been drinking as much as normal, but I do need to save some money for my honeymoon. What a rough summer.

I was kicked off http://www.Lucianne.com board. My politics don't agree with theirs. I would get drunk and antagonize them. They called me a 'site pest'.
No one likes being rejected

but you take that chance when you rattle the cage. It's easy to gauge the mood of a board, read the posts. You know when you're walking toward the crowd and not with it.
