BOYCOTT WAFFLE HOUSE!!

I went there about a week and a half ago, and I was plastered. I have the terrible habit of taking off my shoes because I tend to prefer not to wear shoes. I was wearing my favorite pair of shoes. They're old, tattered, and extremely worn in:

So, I accidentally left them there. They're supposed to hold lost items for 30 days, but they threw my beloved shoes away!!!

I have really been crying over this....I HATE WAFFLE HOUSE!!! :evil:

Sorry for your loss. I've had several deep and long lasting relationships with pairs of Converse All-Stars, both high and low top. They're the sweetest kicks ever.

I'll never go to Waffle House, they didn't even notice the waffle pattern on the sneaker soles. I say go back with something that has Chuck Taylor's name on it, and wreck the joint.

I've always dug the waffle house (both chains - in indiana the real waffle house is called waffle-steak, and we have a second, phoney, hoosier waffle house.) Thing is, too many cops hang out there. Not a good thing when you're plastered at 4am. I've been boycotting waffle house since the last time I was there and got messed with - about 1998.

Sorry to hear about the unfortunate sneaker incident, but I love the Waffle House. We don't have any up here in CT, but whenever I head south I make sure to get my waffle house hash browns scattered, covered, smothered, chopped, topped, etc. - the works. Anytime you incorporate chili into your breakfast, it's a winner. Dammit, now I'm starving.

It's my honest opinion that the lost shoes are ugly like shit.
