Seen today in Rochester

Post by .... »

I wish I had pictures, but I don't. Imagine my consternation when I saw a Jedi Master and a Stormtrooper on my way home for lunch. A co-worker saw a Wookie. Those crazy Star Wars geeks. Isn't that movie opening this weekend or something? It looked like it was real hard for the Stormtrooper to walk.

it doesnt even open until next week.
when episode two came out,my brother and i got tickets for the midnite showing.
i swear we were the only people who werent in costume.
i had heard that lance bass from nsync was in the movie, and the guy next to us was in full jedi gear with his pencile thin beard and moussed hair.
so i turn to my brother, and point right at the guy, and say"see terry,i told you nsync was a jedi".
well that was the best part of the movie for me.
i just can't seem to function without my morning coffee.sure,i've tried other enemas....

A while back it was bible thumpers. Now it's Star Wars geeks. Rochester doesn't sound like a very safe place.

Concur. Though in their defense, it must be hard to drink through that mask. Or take a piss.

I don't even like Star Wars that much, but it would be cool as hell to be a stormtrooper. Those guys are cool as hell even if they did get beat up by midgets rolled up in carpet in Jedi.

Really, though, how many of these wankers that dress up to go to the movies were even ALIVE when the original Star Wars came out ? Considering it was 1977, I'd bet it's not too many.

But hey, it's a timeless story of something or other. I wasn't quite 1 when the original came out so I didn't see it then, but I was there for the Empire Strikes Back and was immediately enthralled.

I also confess to liking the first two prequels though.

I felt very safe when I was there compared to Houston. In Houston, people stop at stop signs, get out of their cars, and throw down. lol. That was hilarious. Gotta make it back down there.

I would avoid it at all costs if I didn't live here.
