Kids in the Hall Quotes

Post by lewisranja »

I'm shocked by the lack of Kids in the Hall quotes on this bulletin board.

One of my favorite comes when a teacher is trying to explain to his rock-loving student how ethnic music is slowly whittling away at rock.

Mr. Gorgenchuck - "Let's see if I can put this into terms you'll understand. Say you had 12 beers."

Bobby - (Nodding his head and smiling happily) OK! All right!

Mr. Gorgenchuck - "ALL RIGHT! Now let's say that four of those beers represent the Pogues, another six represent the Gypsy Kings, and one beer is shared by The Chieftains and Lady Smith Black Mombaza."

Bobby - "But that just leaves one beer. I'LL NEVER GET DRUNK ON ONE BEER!!!!"

And then a nice simple one, which is my favorite just because I've repeated it so many times. It's said by Dave Foley as he stumbles out of a bar, dressed in a business suit and looking around in astonishment. . . . "Where the HELL am I?"

"MY PEN! MY PEN!"
Thats one of my favorites.
Then there was this song that went like "He's the shim-sham king of the rim-ram room". That song plays in my head when I'm walking home drunk.

Was that not a skit about the happiest guy in the world? I kinda remember.
I was always a chicken lady fan. My favo(u)rite quote:

Mother: You want me to give you a quarter so you can masturbate in front of my son?
Chicken Lady: YEEEAAAAHHH!
Mother: I'm calling the police.

Good show.
