Your Ophelie is indeed lovely. Please advise if she as nun should be replaced.cornbread714 wrote:cloud8, your latest avatar looks exactly like my lovely friend Ophelie, a talented and beautiful young lady from France who lives in Berlin and plays drums with a band I produced, Les Haferflocken Swingers.cloud8 wrote:I'll have a mug of margarine.

Well, there are "nun" as lovely, but seriously, it looks like Ophelie on your av. Do you know where that pic came from?

And, cloud8, please put the Ophelie/nun AV back up for awhile so people will know what we're talking about... (as if they really care)

I might do some chunky dunkin' then, if I feel like it and the water is relatively clean.

Re: The say what's on your mind thread ....
When I was 10 I met George Brett at a hockey game. I was standing by the locker room waiting for my favorite player, Dody Wood, to come out and sign my puck. I glanced to my right and saw George. He was standing right next to me about to enter the bar adjacent to the locker room. "Mr Brett! Will you sign my puck!?" He looked at me as if I had just set his dog on fire and preceeded into the bar without saying a word. Perhaps he was just really thirsty that day...
Minutes later, Mr. Wood came out of the locker room, smiling, with fresh stitches in his face, and he signed my puck. I'd just been shunned by my favorite baseball player, but my favorite hockey player was happy to see me; bitter sweet.
Meeting people you admire is a double-edged sword.
