Black and Tan

Post by TheCarnivore »

Anyone got any preference when it comes to their black and tan?

I love Guinness, but have yet to try a black and tan, but I have been doing some research whilst I sit at work.

Well then research this:

1) Responding to threads and not just making them will gain you more friends around here.

2) Fuck the Black and Tans. Always.

I'll work on responding and forming friendships, thanks for the friendly bit of advice, but unfortunately I'm at work and cannot get drunk enough to respond to most threads.

Can't get drunk enough to respond to most threads? But you can respond to your own?

And, yes, I know what a Black and Tan drink is.
I'll miss you, pallie.

I recently went to Dublin and sampled the finest Guinness a man can buy. To mix it with mild seems a bit of a waste...

Try flipping it up with other "tans", and a good thing to call em as to not piss off the Irish is "Half and Half". I like it with Berkshire Brewing Company Steel Rail Pale Ale. Mixing Guiness is wack sometimes, but B and T's are fucking delicious.

Guinness & Duvel is a helluva combo.

Man, I can't believe I haven't tried this yet. I'll be sure to check it out this weekend. I'm considering going with the Duvel, but would some kind of IPA do the trick as well?

Never understood why anyone would mutilate a Guinness in this fashion. Don't even get me started on the snakebite.
