Morning beer

Post by Jags » Sun Jul 24, 2011 8:48 am

It doesn't get much better than waking up still drunk and tapping that first beer.

It's damn expensive to look this cheap.

can i admit something here? i don't think i'm going to have a drink today. to describe the past two weeks as having gone on "a bit of a tear" would be akin to describing wwii as "a minor skirmish." my body is angry with me, and is expressing said anger through unrelenting physical violence.

i need a break. just until monday.

Wondering if you broke? Sometimes I have that sound, reasonable, hungover speech to myself 'So, self. We're not going to quit drinking. But just, like, really? Every night? Just lay off for a little while.' then it's like 'Don't worry, it's okay. just have a few. It's not like 4 beers is gonna make a difference. You're just slowin your roll a little bit, it's healthy'. Then I'm like '4 SHOTS!'

The end, or [scene missing]

Morning beers are the bomb. It's just unfortunate that my morning beer is at 6.45am every day. Then i go to work. From 8o'clock onwards its straight vodka, because that's the only drink the boss' cant smell!!

yeah, i'm full of shit and put some liquor in me yesterday, as i figured a few wouldn't hurt. not today though. i skipped today entirely, and even went jogging. filthy habit, i know, but fresh air and exercise were required.

Jogging?...? That causes chafing. Drinking doesnot cause chafing.

jogging has all kinds of undesirable side-effects such as perspiration, mild fatigue, and increased heart rate. i'm pretty sure 100 bpm is not a healthy heart rate.
