Gin 50/50 with ginger beer was tonight's decent experiment. Was cheap gin so not really wasted.

My Dad took me to the pub regularly from about the age of 13 and my mum used to buy me beers for the weekend about the same age. Once I got to 16 I had some level of tolerance and going to the pub with my mates was hilarious cos they had only just started drinking at all.

Besides having the babies? Whenever I have health issues or decide I'm too damn fat, so drink goes away with all the other good stuff. No problems. I feel bad for people who can't give it up. That makes the pleasure an obligation, which sucks. Depends whether its can''t or won't. Can't is bad, but ...

Only one way to know ... I'm heading for the fridge for some coke and gin. Just a sec .... hhhhm ... wow ... the gin kind of vanishes behind the coke. When you think about whats in the two it makes sense. Coke is flavored with botanicals just like gin. Don't knock it till you try it ... not as bad ...

Your tastes seem to oppose mine (the peatier the better for me) but Geln 18yo is good still.

I find it hard to taste the lighter styles...but that 18yo is decent.

I once stayed up late drinking absinthe...then realised it was time for work....i started to undrunk up within like an hour and by the time i was at work i felt awful. I was violently sick in the street (bottle of 75% abv absinthe, no sleep and I was only 18) in front of bunch of construction worker...

Hell I've lost whats going on and decided to simply respond with anything instead of trying to make any sense of things.
