Re: Best Booze
That's a tough call. The best booze...a person could think on this for years and give you many answers, but it's probably this: A drunkard person such as myself will tell you that the best booze is the one which tastes good enough to yourself and gets you feeling the way you want to feel. Time after...

Re: Just saw True Grit
It was a very good flick, but I like anything where the drunk is the hero.

Re: What are you reading?
Just finished the latest Stephen King novel: 11/22/63. It was really excellent. Unlike under the dome it draws you in after the first 50 pages and is difficult to put down. His best work since Hearts in Atlantis.

Re: What are you reading?
Under the Dome by Stephen King. The premise intigued me, more in a "how the hell could even King pull that off?" sort of way. Now I'm sucked in to this 1000+ page book. It's entertaining. I heard Ken Jennings on NPR earlier this week, and am interested in his new book, Maphead. To quote Bilbo Baggi...

Re: The say what's on your mind thread ....
Everyone has people they look up to, and everyone has a hero. The person they wish they could be. Luckily for me, mine is in my life. My dad is the hardest working, most charitable, kindest, honest, and otherwise greatest person Ive ever known. He gave up drinking 22 years ago because he was an emot...

Re: Drinks you should be ashamed to order in public
To be fair TBC, my post was tongue-in-cheek. But I'm coming around to your way of thinking. I would never say anything negative to a person at the bar based upon what they drink. Everyone has different tastes, and diversity is the spice of life. BUT, if the guy next to me keeps ordering Mike's Hard ...

Re: Drinks you should be ashamed to order in public
Order and drink watch you want...FTW. Damn straight....alcoholism should not be a form of discrimination against certain drinks, its should just be being unable to discriminate against anything with alcohol in as long as its there. Man, I've been arguing that for years. A drunks a drunk right? Case...

Re: Are you going...to San Francisco?
I just got back from San Fran, 3 weeks ago. Sadly the memories are hazy. Its beautiful, though. A lot of Korean tourists. And i had an Irish coffee at the place where it originated, supposedly. And i could buy liquor at 9:30 in the morning. A wonderful, completely out of my range place to live. But ...

Re: Bottle Tops
Most liquors have that cracking thing with the top. Its not just whiskey. Its necessary so when you make a drunk video and you chug straight liquor, its the sign of authentification. If you see someone chugging shit without breaking it open and that that sound, its fake.
