Re: Go to drink

For me it is Evan Williams neat. I very rairly mix my liquor, there are only a handfull of cocktails I will mix and drink. But EW has been my go to for several years now. I may switch to old crow or mabey some gin for a week or two then back to EW. With how much I drink, I tend to stay on thge botto...

Re: Drunk By Noon

Rules, Rules, Rules....Most rules about manliness, and being a gentleman I agree with. However, not having a drink till noon I cannot condone, unless, you dont get out of bed till 11:55am. As posted above, having a champainge breakfest everyday does not take away its specialness. That statement is l...

Re: A lawyer told me

I would also point out that, at least in the US jurisdictions with which I'm familiar, you can be charged with drunk driving even if the vehicle is stopped and parked.. Very True. I had a friend who got a DUI while parked. He made the right choice of sleeping in his car instead of driving home. His...

Re: I've been drunk since I woke up

Last night was a proper celebration of our mothers, with tecate beers backed with shots of costco tequila. I know it was a great night because I woke up still drunk, and fully intend to keep this glorious buzz alive. This moring consisted of three more shots before I headed off to work, and gatoraid...

Re: The Glass? Or the Bottle?

My uncle once told me that a beer bottle or can is meerly a vessle, and that its contents should always be drank from a glass. I do not always do so, the situation dictates. But when practicle, I will pour my beer into a glass.

Re: Drinking at a bar or at home?

While I do enjoy drinking at the bar, I only go on occassion, usually to watch a UFC or boxing fight I dont want to buy. To be honest with my large appitite for booze, I quickly drink through my alloted cash for the night. I am compleatly content drinking at home, wether it be with friends and famil...

Re: Liquor and the Tobacco Pipe

I bought a couple ounces of Lane 1-Q and it came in on saturday. It was a good smoke, very similer to Captain Black but cheaper and better quality. It was good and burned well. Tasted great with a glass of EW.

Re: Liquor and the Tobacco Pipe

Thats it, last night was perfect. I didnt break up the tabacco as much, packed it as much as I could and I had a solid 30min with no relight. I am hooked, and the money I will save on not buying expensive ass cigars will be spent on more booze.

Re: The Crappy Jokes thread!

Part of being able to move past racial barriers is to laugh at them. I am Mexican on one side and Polish/Irish on the other, I can laugh at spic jokes or stupid polock jokes, just like I would guess that you can laugh at whatever race you are jokes. People should lighten up, America has become so pu...

This is incredible! Powdered alcohol, 'Palcohol' http://www.businessinsider.com/palcohol-powdered-alcohol-2014-4 You beat me to this, I was just about to post it. It seems like a good idea, not sure what other chemicals are in if any. I also wonder if it would aleviate the booze breath, so you coul...

Re: Liquor and the Tobacco Pipe

I dove in this past weekend and got my corncob pipe and a pouch of london export. I did enjoy it more than a cigar, but the down side was that a bowl only lasted about 10 minuets. Do I need to pack it more to get a longer burn time? It did stay lit all the way to the end so I assume it was a good pa...

Re: Random Alcohol Testing

If I show up and do a stellar job and am polite, I can probably get away with just about anything. . This is key! Dont every give anyone a reson to supect that you are a drunk. My opinion, there was never an "Alex", if there was, it was years ago, like the 50s or 60s. I have heard stories about whe...
