I forgot - It wouldn't be possible to detect if a single malt was chillfiltered or not. Maybe possible if two samples of the same whisky were tried side by side. Chillfiltration is for aesthetic purposes.

Blackadder is an independent bottler of whisky, and have been knocking around for years and years. They buy casks of malt and bottle them and don't own any distilleries. Yes Sazarac 18, some years are way better than others though as it's just yearly small batches. The other BTAC rye Thomas H Handy is also fantastic. Willet Rye is another favourite.
