Just looked that one up. Nice. Lately I've been eating The Last Dab XXX, which was the hottest sauce featured on Hot Ones on YouTube for a season or two -- 3 million SHU allegedly, which I find hard to believe because I can tolerate it pretty well (still get teary-eyed and snotty, but bearably so)....

Anyone into hot sauces? What are your faves? I recently picked up a bottle of Dave's Insanity Sauce. Pretty hawt, but the flavor sucks. I know that there are way better sauces out there. My Niece gifted me with the Elijah's gift set which includes a bottle of Extreme Regret. Good taste, but definit...

My Texas Red recipe is very similar... No tomato paste and I dredge the cubed beef is masa flower before browning. I use a Dutch oven for this. After browning the meat... I deglaze the bottom with a bit of beer before adding any of the other ingredients.

Tempted to order the brisket from Rudy's BBQ in Texas. Currently residing in the "not yet, but soon to be frozen North" and am Jones'ing for some Texas BBQ.

Almost $300 shipped over night though... Still... could be worth it to me.
