Re: I'm an idiot

I concur with your inebrio-ethics, Ivan. You're of a fine character, but I've expressed that opinion before. However, I think it comes down to the character of the candy store itself. Are they "mom & pops" by their living? Or are they shrewd suits smoking your dollar? Because when it comes to the l...

Re: Black and Tan

Trader Joe's Vintage Dark Ale (Unibroue dark) and Blackthorn cider. Tart and a tad bitter, but with a good creaminess at a 2/3 to 1/3 ratio.

Re: Re:

It might not have been that dinner; most likely it was another time, but we were at the same deli pulling Bud Ice 40s out a fridge when some other random customer stops us. "HO!" he says. "Ho ... You know that ain't no malt liquor, right?" We pointed him to the ABV and he was like, "Oh, ok ok, I se...

Re: The perfect G&T

Half Beefeater, half tonic. Squeeze of lime or 3-5 drops of Angostura. I keep my Gin and martini glasses in the freezer, as I don't always have enough ice on hand. Though I'm down to drinking $7.99/fifth Gin at the moment, so flavor preservation isn't the biggest concern.

Just wait for the part when the valet turns into a Rottweiller with a 454 Magnum and kills a mountain lion with a bow when it's not looking.

Re: Rye Whiskey

There's a reason there was a Whiskey Rebellion--Rye drove a significant portion of Pennsylvannia's burgeoning enconomy. MD still makes Pikesville, which is quite tasty even if it isn't a strong as the Revoluntionary-era stuff.
