I can't wait!

My cold medication consists of nasal decongestant and alka-seltzer. And tonight, vodka and tonics with lemon. For that extra shot of victim C.

How do you handle colds and drinking?

Just take my advice and don't try tequila as a cold cure. I tried it once at university, on the recommendation of my drinking buddies, and it worked so well I couldn't remember anything after leaving the pre-bar drinks. I woke up with a packet of cigars in my pocket, a "Men at Work" sign outside my door (Don't even ask because I have absolutely no idea... Aberystwyth Town Council won't leave signs, workmen's huts, or anything even vaguely movable within drunken staggering distance of Penglais Campus, students being students), and I later found out that I owed grovelling apologies to many many people. Not my best hour.

As much whisky as I can get my hands on plus a ton of OTC Cold Remedies and for a persistent cough I take Pholcodine medicine (shouldn't supress a cough I know) but that stuff gives a nice little buzz on top of all the whisky too you can almsot forget about that pesky cold : ) : )
