The Guinness record for downing a yard is 5 seconds.

Not only that, but I'd say it can be done more easily with Guinness. Anyone who's done an irish car bomb knows Guinness is an easy chugging beer, must be due to nitrogen and less carbonation.

It might be an urban legend, but I knew some of those girls and guys, and it's possible.
Some years ago the team of the student dorm of an electrical engineering university here broke the world record of the 100 pint relay (pilsner type)with about 350 secs.
That is 3.5 s average. (Best personal time was under the measure limit, but there were some youngsters in the team playing with the glass for about 7 secs as well...) I think it's easy to break that. We should form a team, I guess.
