Actually, in regards to the original topic, I read that the BATF or somebody was looking into these 'malt beverages' because their alcohol and/or flavorings are achieved through spirits and not brewing, or something.

Nothing. That's why I'd rather drink it.

this article should shed some light on this particualr part of the subject..

over all.. we are miffed that these products are allowed to be sold, marketed, and elluded to as being..beer.. we are fighting for the integrity of our product
most of us consider these beverages to essentially be dangerous to the drinking public becouse they are market directly to people who want to get drunk.. but not have to drink to do it
Flavored
Alcoholic
Drinks

That's the exact same with me. I tried (and hated) tequiza once. Oh, and I had a sip of some shit that was rasperry breeze one morning at a friend's house. That's it though. I don't even like coke or pepsi straight, so I know I wouldn't like any of those things.

I saw a commercial the other day for a 4 pack of khalua, or however you spell it. I think the stuff tastes kinda good in coffee, but a 4 pack? I'd probably barf before I could feel anything.
