Ha! I was wondering what was under his chin. Funny stuff
Re: Who's your favorite drinker of your drink of choice?
I know that Nick Offerman from Parks and Recreation is a notorious Lagavulin drinker.
They even bottled an 11-year-old edition in his name.
And that's all I can think of.

Don't worry. We're in no hurry.

Thinking about the thread title, I don`t know any world renown "famous" vodka guzzlers.
Duff McKagan and James Hetfield maybe

Well in the world of fiction there's of course Ian Fleming's character (James Bond) while in the novels Bond would drink a a vesper martini, which is made with both vodka and gin, in most of the films, the character would drink a simple vodka martini.
Fleming himself wasn't fond of the vesper, preferring a gin martini (good for him)
The book; Shaken, drinking with James Bond & Ian Fleming, it is pointed out that in Fleming's novels Champagne and whisky are mentioned more often than martinis.

Hello?1 Martinis are always consumed with a high amount of vodka, and an exxon valdez oil-leak on topMerchant Seaman wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 12:25 pm

A classic martini is made with gin, the vodka martini is a variation

Oh I knew someone would skold me.
I`m not a drink expert at all, it`s merely how I like it.
Stirred or shaken, just make sure it gets me drunk.

Speaking of martinis, I wouldn't mind sharing a few dry ones with Winston Churchill.
For bourbon (my main drink of choice), Hunter S. Thompson or William Faulkner.

Yep. Where are you Lush City?! He will remind us of that (hence oett's post about the scoldings). I just happen to be a vodka drinker so I prefer the non-classic variation but wouldn't turn down a gin if it was offered to me. I also don't know much about gin but open to learning and trying it out.Merchant Seaman wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 2:12 pmUm...oettinger wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 2:06 pmHello?1 Martinis are always consumed with a high amount of vodka, and an exxon valdez oil-leak on topMerchant Seaman wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 12:25 pm

No, but i do know how a martini is made, as for gin, in my view, the more botanical, the betterArtful Drunktective wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 1:36 amYep. Where are you Lush City?!
