Famous Writers' Favorite Drinks

Post by Generic Jug »

In a vein similar to the "Who's your favorite drinker of your drink of choice?" thread, I was wondering if a list could be compiled of the favorite drinks of famous writers. NaNoWriMo is coming up, and I have not yet found the appropriate drink to consume in order to conjure the spirit of the great writer of my choice.

Unfortunately, I've been unable to find any information on what JD Salinger drank, but askthebrain.com speculates it was bourbon and whiskey. I can see it, what with his reclusive ass locked in his study all day. Who's to know?

And of course, there's Dylan Thomas, who died from alcohol poisoning by whiskey. 'Nough said.

Check my sig for my opinion on Hemingway's choice, but don't hold me to it since I haven't done much research.

By the way, hi. I'm new here.
