I'd be interested to hear what bottle you're shooting for, scream ale.

Then again, you have a whole year to think about it.
Don't worry. We're in no hurry.

I'll post it here when the time comes. Since my girlfriend is contributing as well it will most likely be something Scottish or Irish as she's not much of a bourbon drinker. But I do have a whole year to get her more interested in ryes so who knows. Whatever it is it'll be something special.

Now that I think about it I seem to remeber she and I did something similar a few years ago. We were saving up for a bottle of Red Breast 21 year old. Saved it up got to the store and....no 21 year old Red Breast. So we picked up a couple of bottles and had a fun a little weekend. My memory is shit but I seem to recall trying Glenfiddich 12 uear old then. So who knows we may do that again instead blowing the whole wad on one bottle.

Cool.

Your post got me looking up high end bottles, and I found this crazy video: The Perfect Collection.

Heaven is real, and only costs 9-11 million dollars.
Don't worry. We're in no hurry.

^^^ Jaysus!
That's fucking insane. I think if I ever found myself surrounded by that much whiskey I'd just have a breakdown. Wouldn't have a goddamn clue where to start. My brain would break.

The cost isn't the issue. The availability is. Even if you could afford to drink that every day good luck replacing it.

Screw that, here's a game: 30 days, all of ModernDrunkard.com, locked in that cellar, what happens?

For one, Willies will kill someone. I'm not sure who, I'm not sure why, but goddamnit as far as he's concerned: somebody's gotta die.

Oettinger will drink himself into a walking coma (I don't think that's a thing, but I do know if anyone can be the first case, it'd be him).

Whoever does die will be consumed slowly by Connie as he tries to siphon the drinking energy from the corpse to use for whatever nefarious and deviant purposes his sick mind can devise. Also, he'll be naked for some reason. So maybe he'll be the one Willies kills.

Ya know, in my Tribe, it's a rule that ya gotta eat what you kill.
