A lot of the time I'm going for quantity, not quality.

Re: Re-Discovering the joy of Beer.
There was a beer from Munich I used to love so much in the early 90s. The name escapes me, but dammit, it was good shit. C'est la vie.

Re: Re-Discovering the joy of Beer.
I can't say there's any particular style I don't like, although I shy away from the wheat beers - just not my thing. If I had the scratch, I'd be tucking into some Bell's Two-Hearted Ale (cliche by now, but delicious nonetheless) or even some Arrogant Bastard. I'm also a fan of those trappist style brews like Chimay.
As it stands, though, I am but a pauper and praise the beer gods daily for good ol' Natty Light being $10 a case. It may not taste like much, but it's never skunky or off-flavored. Consistency is where American piss-water shines. If I have a nickel or two more to rub together, I spring for a case of Yuengling.
I drink Scotch as a rule to get loaded, but just keeping the shakes away finds me drinking cold beer by the case.

There are those who look upon some of my more unsavory habits and call them the cries for help of a problem drinker. I prefer to think of them as the charming misadventures of a dashing rogue.

Stay tuned...
I would also like to see you playing live, but that's an other story.
Taste-wise, it's a somewhat darker (both in color and taste) version of a classic Flemish witbier (white beer). The overall balance seems perfect and you can easily pick out the subtle taste of the white asparagus used in this brew.

Why do you people ever abandon beer in the first fucking place?
