Depends how you're taking them. Mojitos and Rickeys are more daytime drinks, while a rum and coke or a martini skew evening. Whiskey is always more of night thing for me, unless it's gameday or other flask time.

In all honestly, I would just go with a few of each.

If you have some tonic, then go for a few large G&T's then move onto the whiskey. If you're still thirsty after that, then fall back on the rum...

I thought it might be like should you stop drinking or something equally epic and life changing

Both are alcohol and get the job done; whichever u pick is your choice
